Karina Tantalean U.S History 2 Period 1 Mr. Emmerling Dear novel bonkr,             In the year 1917, I immigrated to the United States at the period of 17 and during this time they had passed a law that any immigrant oer the age of 16 had to be literate in a language. Luckily I am Irish and can discourse English although in an accent, because intimately of the Asians were banned because of their language in which almost no 1 understood. When I arrived, they asked me to intercommunicate and I did but I did so as to which they could sort of look me and so, for some reason, they sent me to wiz part of the mess and oer every last(predicate), people were just separated by and by into little groups. I assumed because of the language that they would speak in.
